FiberStar Becomes Official Partner of Starlink to Provide Satellite Internet Access in Indonesia

Jakarta, July 1, 2024 - FiberStar, one of Indonesia's telecommunications infrastructure providers, proudly announces its official partnership with Starlink, the innovative satellite internet service owned by SpaceX. The cooperation agreement was signed by FiberStar with the Starlink Service Indonesia Enterprise Team. Starlink is known for providing high-speed internet services through a network of satellites in closer orbit to Earth. This partnership aims to bring reliable satellite internet access to expand the coverage and quality of internet services in Indonesia.

Wisnu Wardhana, Customer Service Assurance Division Head of FiberStar, stated on June 27, 2024, in Jakarta, "We proudly announce that FiberStar has become one of the Authorized Starlink Resellers in Indonesia. We are committed to bringing satellite internet technology to the Indonesian community. This partnership reflects FiberStar's commitment to continuously expand our coverage of quality internet access, making digital connectivity limitless for all Indonesians."

Wisnu Wardhana added that FiberStar, along with Starlink, offers the latest solutions for comprehensive internet coverage for all Indonesians, including those in remote areas who deserve quality internet access.

FiberStar not only offers Starlink products with official licenses but also provides other solution services with various additional options to meet the needs and convenience of our customers. The Starlink products offered by FiberStar include Standard, Standard Actuated, and Flat High Performance types, with internet speeds of up to 200 Mbps per terminal.

Managed services provided by FiberStar include device damage warranty, 24 x 7 customer support, services available throughout Indonesia, options to integrate with SDWAN & Security devices (centralized network management technology to monitor all traffic), as well as delivery and installation services to facilitate users.

The fiber optic network requires satellite connectivity via Starlink, and the satellite needs fiber optics as a connection with unlimited bandwidth and low latency. The availability of both will support Indonesia's connectivity.
